Running of KCACTF Conference
Trip and House Manager
In addition to Attending the KCACTF Conference senior year, I organized the trip for all 41 students from Millersville University that attended. I worked with the ACMO and Citamard, the two student organizations on campus, to propose funds from Student Senate and planed 3 fundraisers to get the trip fully funded for all students that attend the conference.
Through all four years as a Theatre Assistant my main jobs were working with University Theatre, the theatre organization run by Millersville professors/staff. They had 3 main stage shows a year, 1 in the fall and 2 in the spring. I would build sets and paint, design and edit programs, set up lobby displays, and assist with positions that needed to be filled on production staffs.
In Junior and senior year when I started more management related projects, I worked on PR for Fundraisers like the Dame Edna Benefit and working with the two student organizations, ACMO and Citamard, in assisting them with their productions and helping with their rehearsal schedules, rehearsal spaces and rentals of equipment.
Senior year I acted as Assistant Production Manager for the 3 main stage shows and worked directly with the production staffs and
casts to ensure they had smooth runs of their shows and I was
house manager for all their performances.
