Battle Bots Competition

The combination of William Penn Middle School and Charles Beihm Middle School (2 of the 3 Pennsbury MS) come together each year to compete in a 1 night Battle Bot Competition!

The students create teams of 2-5 students and can include up to 1 adult (9th grade to parent). They get 1 hour to brainstorm and build their robots and use the remaining competition to compete in a double elimination bracket.

This year we had 8 teams compete 1 from William Penn and 7 from Charles Beihm. Our 1 team, the SuperBots, from William Penn went undefeated the entire bracket and took home the championship!

In the 90 second match, every time you disabled the other team (lifted off the ground, flipped over or pushed off the table) the team received a point. Whichever team has the most points at the end of the 90 seconds, takes the match!
