I joined Delta Zeta because I loved doing community
Service with Girl Scouts and robotics all through
high school, and I wanted to continue that
through my college experience. Through my
three and a half years in DZ, I was able to work
work with and lead my sorority through
workshops, events and meetings. As Co-
Philanthropy Chair I was in charge of working with
our national philanthropies of the Painted Turtle Camp,
and The Starkey Hearing Foundation. When I was Vice President of Programs, I was on the executive board, and assigned and led the sisters who held any of our 25 chair positions to keep our chapter running. I held meetings to help the chair holders plan events and collaborate with other organizations and made sure they stayed on top of their positions and we checked in with Millersville's All Greek Council and their advisers as well as with Delta Zeta National Council.
Through my junior and senior year once I was head guard and song chair I worked with my sorority to run our events. I was the referee
for our first annual Hike For Hearing Flag Football event and
assisted in organizing the music and technical aspects for
our annual drag show. Both of these events were to
raise money for our National Philanthropy The
Starkey Hearing Foundation.
All Greek Council Executive Board Member
Greek Week Chair- Fall 2017 - Spring 2018
Senior Year I organized and carried out Greek Week for the All Greek Council (AGC) with the help of my Greek Week Committee and advisers. AGC is made up of all Greek Organizations on Campus: four Panhel Sororities, six IFC Fraternities and four CGC Sororities/Fraternities. Within the 14 organizations there were 320 Greek Members. Our committee planned one bonus event in March, five days of events in April and raised money for the Greek Wide Philanthropy Make-a-Wish.
