I started with the Hatboro-Horsham Theatre Department (HHTD) my freshman year of high school, September 2010. I was part of the Stage Crew which met after school three days a week to build the sets for the fall play or musical and the spring musical. Stage Crew was where I learned how to use power tool and my skill grew through my 4 years. I ended up being one of the Master Carpenters my sophomore through senior year, Assistant Stage Manager my junior year and Stage Manager my senior year. Once I graduated high school I still wanted to be involved, and every year the summer show allows alumni and students from surrounding districts to do theatre together. So I was able to stay involved.

I started working on the staff for HHTD the summer after my freshman year of college as the Assistant Director, the show that summer was Next to Normal and after the production closed, we were selected to preform at the State Thespians Conference in December 2015 at York High School. The show had a smaller cast which was different to work with, all through college the shows I worked on had 20-40 people in them, but Next to Normal only had 6 leads and 8 ensemble. The following Summer I was the Assistant Director for High School Musical, a much bigger cast which was a total 180 from the previous summer. After that, I took a step back so I could focus on summer classes so I could graduate and not have to take classes while I was student teaching . I still worked with the shows, but only the weeks leading up to show week once they started doing runs. For The Little Mermaid I helped with harnesses some students had to wear for flying, and I helped others with quick changes. For Dogfight I was the Assistant Production Manager helping with posters and running rehearsals, and acted as the Assistant Stage Manager, since the one we had, had work 2 of the show nights.
